According to a heartbreaking obituary of AnnaRose King, she is survived by her husband, Michael Charles Telis, and their 4-year-old girl, Willow Rose King Telis, of Brooklyn, NY.
A Bit of all Righ, AnnaRose King wrote, directed, produced, and played in the 2016 feature Good Enough, which she claimed was inspired by the passing of her father, Roger King of King World Productions.
Born in Manhattan, King passed her childhood in Beverly Farms, Massachusetts, earned her bachelor’s degree in diplomacy and world affairs from Occidental College, and then her master’s from the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.

Her death news came almost three years after battling with cancer, based on what her family released. She was suffering from lung cancer.
Good Enough explains the story of a flight attendant who embarks on a journey to find a long-lost relative after her dad dies.
“After my dad passed away, I wanted to know more [about him],” AnnaRose announced on a 2017 episode of Dr. Phil, adding, “He was a larger-than-life character, as you know. … After his funeral, someone came up to me and said, ‘I can walk because of him,’ because of some charity work that he did.”
King, who also founded Young King Productions, is survived by her husband, Michael Charles Telis, and their four-year-old daughter. Survivors also include her mother, her sister and her mother and father-in-law.
Late AnnaRose who co-created, wrote, and directed the 2014 web series American Viral, starring Michael Showalter, was chosen as a 2020 Sundance Institute FilmTwo Fellow for her original screenplay about a young woman from New York on a last-ditch effort to heal her incurable cancer by participating in a cutting-edge, experimental treatment in Houston.
Above all, King established a cancer research fund at MD Anderson in the city.

In an autography, Anna Rose introduces herself: “My first feature film “Good Enough,” was called an “A MUST SEE” by US Magazine, Star Magazine gave it 5 STARS, and it was an iTunes Bestseller. Film Critic Roger Friedman called it “breezy, quirky, and very fully realized.” and Dr. Phil even had us on his show to talk about it.”
She continued “I did my Master’s in Film Production at New York University and am a 2020 Sundance Institute FilmTwo fellow. I co-created, wrote, and directed the web series ‘American Viral’ starring Michael Showalter for Thundershorts (Snag Films’ ad-supported comedy destination)”
She added: “I have directed several series for NYLON MAGAZINE with LaTiDa Productions, a female film collective I co-founded in 2009. My short films have screened at festivals nationally and internationally including my documentary “Tigger!” which screened as Coup d’Coeur in the Short Film Corner at Cannes.”
