Born on November 7, 1995, Bethany Noel Mota grew up in Los Banos, California with her parents and her older sister Brittany. Attending public school from third to sixth grade, she spent most of her education homeschooled. 

Starting from sixth grade, Bethany followed her passion through dance and acting classes briefly. Bethany moat started filming videos and shared them on her YouTube channel so that she can somehow escape from the stress of bullying and rapidly gained followers.

That little girl is now an author, singer, brand ambassador, influencer, and speaker . . . and she’s only 26 years old. Most of her videos are included outfit ideas, makeup and hair tutorials, recipes, and DIY ideas subjects.

Life Behind Bullying

Bethany was trying to bear the bullies ever since she was a teenager. She removed herself from the school and kicked off filming videos for YouTube after she found herself lonely and bored.

Little by little she came out of her comfort zone and rebuild her confidence, making her way to a big success. One of her worst bullying experiences was at the time when someone created a fake MySpace page in her name as she was only 13 years old.

She told her point of view: “They wrote vicious things about me. I closed up. I stayed inside all day and started watching videos of girls doing their hair, trying on clothes.”

Bullying can easily tear down the confidence and grows anxiety, depression, and truancy. You can easily check StopBullying.gov and do your part in stopping the wrong attitude from hearting children and teenagers.

Her Bubbly Personality: “People appreciated that realness.”

You can never imagine a celeb who doesn’t have haters and bullies who leave inappropriate comments under their posts. But even with that, Bethany managed to gain nearly a million followers when she was only 18 years old.

“It was so cool seeing girls being positive and spreading happiness,” she said in an interview. When she was asked How being bullied inspired her to start filming beauty videos when she was 13, she respond: “At first, I made beauty videos that were like everyone else’s… I’d try to act perfect. But then I realized it might be more fun if I was just myself.”

YouTube queen added: “I showed my silly side and kept in the bloopers. I liked those videos way more, and people appreciated that realness.”After rebuilding her confidence she started posting behind the scenes at the end f each video which led her to gain much more followers.

Many started falling in love with her bubbly personality which has been inspiring millions of teenage girls ever since to love themselves and feel happy and more confident.

Don’t Spend Your Time & Energy In Hating The Haters

Celebrities are under a lot of pressure, the hard-to-breath-in atmosphere is mostly created by their haters. They all have experienced it, and many gained the strength to survive it. Luckily for fans, dear Bethany is one of them.

She once shared a story at the time she was dealing with her all-time-hater. She shared that there was not a video that she could not find something negative in it to comment about. 

What Bethany chose to do was to write a non-rude comment for her hater. “ I’m sorry that you don’t like my videos; But thank you for watching. I hope you have a good day.” She wrote.

The hater replied most unexpectedly: “I’m sorry. I’m going through a really tough pain in my life. I’ve been taking it out on random people.”

Bethany later looks back at that experience in this way: “Most of the time, internet bullies act on impulse; they feel something negative and they act on it immediately…” 

She believed this is why one comment doesn’t necessarily represent who someone is as a person as much as their mood in a moment.”

To deal with her other haters, she found a great way. In one of her videos, she wrote a song by using her haters’ comments, which you should not miss.

How to Get Over Procrastination; Let’s See What Beth Has to Say About That

You have two choices when you freeze for not being productive. Make excuses or push past it. “Here’s how I get myself moving…”

• Do not think too far ahead, Bethany’s recommendation. The end of the result of a project can haunt you and scare you from doing anything. 

• You should always try to find your enjoyment in this project and focus on that to get you moving forward and finish what need to be done.

• Do it for twenty seconds…” she recommended. She added: “I noticed once I do something for fifteen min, I’m in it.”

• Build a private workstation if you can. Find out how you can manage to concentrate on your projects. Get an example from Beth as she can easily focus while music is playing in the background.

• “Whenever I’m in this horrible mindset of doubting myself, I decide I’m going t finish something, no matter how it comes out.” All you have to do is to decide that you will get the job done even if it’s not gonna come out as your best.

Bethany Mota’s Atom & Matter, Her Fashion Brand:

Over the past years, Bethany started to follow her passion and took a higher step by evolving into a thriving business and brand. Being known as the Most Influential People on the Internet in the TIME listing for two years in a row, she stepped away from YouTube for a little while.

Little did her fans know that at that point she was working on Atom&Matter which came to fruition in 2019. At the age of 24-25, the beloved blogger started to add another profession to her flawless résumé: She became the founder and co-designer of Atom&Matter, a line of delicate jewelry.

“This brand could be a million things. Ultimately, I wanted this brand to be a landing space for the community and what we believe in, which is that everybody is equal; we’re all atoms and matter, and we all go through the same stuff. We go through challenges. We can relate in that we’re all different and we all have our own unique paths.”

Bethany described them as a symbol of personal growth and transformation. It seems like these pieces, which are called the Galaxy Collection, seem specially designed for life at home in a sweatshirt and for everyday use, or as a perfect gift to give to your loved ones.

“Younger than any other people that I’ve worked with; But not any less influential…” said Ms. Lee. Bethany co-design the collection with Yunjo Lee. For those who may wonder, Lee had spent several years at Tiffany & Co.

Mota believes that in some ways, it’s good to reach those audiences who don’t watch her or know who she is.  She quoted: “I want this to also appeal to them.”

How Did Bethany Get Over Her Fear?

Bethany has answered this question in her book, Make Your Mind Up.

She responded to this question by telling a story about when she traveled to Greece with her friends. They walked up to the top of a cliff for a better view. Little did she know, they were willing to jump to the water and wanted Bethany to jump down with them. 

She expressed the fear she experienced as she was scared to jump and hit her head. She could have just walked away from that wild experience, but a voice in her head asked: “Do I want to do this?”

She said that in every moment she felt fear, she asked herself that little question, and she always decided on two responses does she really want to do this for herself, or is she just under the pressure of doing something she doesn’t want to do. 

Bethany jumped, and she was right. She expressed: “I felt alive and ready to try something new. If I can face my greatest fear, I can face anything.

Bethany Mota’s Boyfriend; Is Bethany Mota Engaged?

We all know about Bethany Mota’s boyfriend but what all fans want to know now is that are they engaged or at least if that process gonna happen any day soon.
