Isaiah Stokes, an actor who appeared in one episode of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” is accused of fatally shooting 37-year-old Tyrone Jones in Queens, New York, on February 7, 2021. Video surveillance footage from that day shows that Isaiah Stokes was exiting a vehicle before allegedly unloading 11 gunshots into a parked white Jeep Grand Cherokee, hitting Tyrone Jones who later died of his injuries.

This fatal shooting happened in broad daylight and about a mile and a half from where the victim reportedly lived, near the intersection of Linden Boulevard and 200th Street, at about 2:45 p.m. Any information about possible motives for the shooting is not available yet.
Queens District Attorney said, “The defendant is accused of unloading nearly eleven shots during this brazen afternoon shooting. Gun violence is all too prevalent in our neighborhoods. We will not allow it to become the norm.”
