Is Rapper Kodak Black in Jail for 10-year After Raping Teen?
If you ask ‘is rapper Kodak Black in jail?” after being charged with assaulting a teenage girl in a South Carolina hotel room, the shocking answer is no!
The rapper, whose legal name is Bill Kapri, who is accused of raping a teen girl in a Florence hotel room after a 2016 concert, has avoided prison in a South Carolina sexual assault case against him.
Kodak Black reportedly pushed the teenager against a wall then onto a bed, biting her neck and breast during the assault, while the victim asked Black to stop, but he didn’t.
Police first found out about the rape when the girl told a school nurse a day after the incident, and the nurse informed the police soon. The victim, in the case, followed the plea online, and Kodak spoke to her, saying, “I apologize this happened, and I’m hopeful we can all move forward.”
The case came while the “ZEZE” rapper previously had a three-year federal prison sentence for his false documents used to purchase weapons at a Miami gun store. He had passed about half his sentence time.
Why is Kodak Black Not in Jail for Rapping Case?
Kodak Black just struck a plea agreement with prosecutors in a sexual assault trial that will keep him out of jail, however, under the careful eye of the officials. Kodak could get a 10-year suspended jail sentence and place on 18 months of managed state probation after having pled guilty for the 2016 case.
Officials announced: “While on probation, he will not wear an ankle monitor, but must let his probation officer know where he goes and where he lives. We’re also told Kodak will not be allowed to use drugs, drink alcohol or have guns and if he successfully completes the 18-month probation … he won’t spend a day in prison for the case.”
“For those who aren’t familiar with the case, Kodak was charged for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage girl at a hotel in February of 2016. According to prosecutors, the Miami rapper pushed the victim into a wall and onto a bed before biting on her breast and neck.”
They added, “Though he initially denied the allegations, Kodak eventually admitted in court that he bit the girl before apologizing for his actions on the record.”
