Twitch streamer and Minecraft YouTube star Bashurverse’s cause of death has been revealed by his sister after his death on September 13. May he rest in peace.

Brandon “Bashurverse” Ashur sadly passed away on September 13, 2021, his sister has now confirmed. Anesa Ashur shared the tragic information on Facebook.

His sister wrote on her Facebook page: “Brandon Dylan Ashur. There are so many things I could say, but I don’t think I could even put our lives into words if I wanted to. Why is this beast so terrible? Why did it have to get you?”

“You have faced so many challenges in your 36 years. Never would I imagine we would lose you to a pandemic,” she continued. “You are one of the strongest people I know, and pushed through no matter what the Internet said, no matter what people wanted to think… you proved how amazing of a soul you are. I love you, to the moon and back.”

She then announced the sad news of her brother’s death, saying: “My brother fought COVID and unfortunately lost the battle. I cannot believe this is happening… He was amazing. He is amazing.”

“There are so many things I could say, but I don’t think I could even put our lives into words if I wanted to. Why is this beast so terrible? Why did it have to get you? You have faced so many challenges in your 36 years. Never would I imagine we would lose you to a pandemic,” Toasty added.

Fans Searching for Bashurverse’s Cause of Death

The real name Brandon Dylan Ashur, Bashurverse’s cause of death, was revealed on his sister’s Facebook account, which has since been deleted.

Anesa Ashur, Bashurverse’s sister, wrote a heartfelt tribute to her deceased brother and shared the sad news with his fans and followers. After her post was taken down, one of Brandon’s followers decided to repost it on Reddit.

Brandon’s sister announced that he had died after contracting COVID-19. The Reddit post is made from an account called Robin and apologized to fans for delaying the news.

Before his death at the hand of the pandemic, the Minecraft YouTube star had been largely absent from social media for several years after he was accused of being involved with girls who were minors while he was in high school.

The young Youtuber posted videos until 2015 but then removed his entire account and remained largely silent until 2019 when he re-emerged under the new name Toasty.

Shortly after the sad news of Youtuber Bashurverse’s death came out, devasted friends and fans stated their condolences on social media and paid poignant tributes to him.

“I hadn’t spoken to Bashurverse in a year or two but I was rooting for him to make a comeback. Really sad I didn’t reach out while I had the chance. F*** covid. RIP sir, you were an incredibly nice person that only wanted to find happiness. I hope you found it,” a Twitter user wrote.

One fan tweeted: “RIP ToastyTime/Bashurverse. You’re home now. I know he made some mistakes many many years ago as Bashurverse, but I believe over time he reinvented himself as someone better.”

One social media user tweeted: “Regardless of your feelings towards Brandon Ashur/Bashurverse or the content he has made throughout the years, it’s really damn sad to see him suddenly pass away from COVID. He undoubtedly left his mark on the internet and will not be forgotten.”

“His family is most likely going through a lot right now and as soulless as it might seem for me to say, they have my thoughts and prayers,” another user wrote.
