Shocked fans are asking about the ex-Homestead and Purdue standout and beloved NBA player Caleb Swanigan’s cause of death after the star suddenly passed away on June 21, 2022, at the young age of 25.

Caleb Swanigan’s Cause of Death Revealed

Swanigan had a standout sophomore campaign at Purdue and was named the Big Ten Player of the Year and was a consensus first-team All-American. He was also a finalist for the Naismith Award. Following the season, he entered the NBA draft and was selected No. 26 overall.

The news came this morning from WANE television in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The outlet said that the coroner’s office in Allen County, Indiana had confirmed that Swanigan passed of natural causes. NBA journalist Shams Charania of The Athletic tweeted that Swanigan’s alma mater, Purdue University, had confirmed his passing.
