Details of Cynthia Plaster Caster’s Cause of Death

Details of Cynthia Plaster Caster’s cause of death have not been shared with the public at this time. Her family also has not released a statement to confirm the sad news.

After Albritton Met Frank Zappa, she found in him something of a patron. Zappa moved her to LA, which Cynthia described as veritable groupie heaven.

In 1971, after her apartment was burglarized, Frank and Cynthia decided the casts should be preserved for a future exhibition, and entrusted them to his legal partner, Herb Cohen, for safekeeping.

Their idea did not take off however due to a sudden lack of rock stars willing to participate. The Chicago artist made no casts between 1971 and 1980 and finally held her first exhibition of the casts in NYC in 2000.
