Big Brother Star Dinkybliss’s Cause of Death Seems Mysterious

Big Brother Mzansi star and social media influencer Dinkybliss’s cause of death seems mysterious after she passed away at the age of 29 in the early hours of Sunday (November 13, 2022).

The heartbreaking news of her death was confirmed by her manager, Bukhosi Heshu-Ngcingolo, and soon broke on social on Sunday; may she rest in peace and we offer our deepest sympathies to her loved ones during the hard period.

Based on Heshu-Ngcingolo’s report, the 29-year-old took her last breath at Hillbrow Clinic on Sunday morning; he wrote, “It is with deep sadness that we share the news of Rethabile Potsane, also known as Dinkybliss, has passed away in the early hours of today (Sunday) at Hillbrow Clinic.”

Potsane was reportedly taken to the hospital on Sunday morning and was declared dead by doctors upon arrival. Heshu-Ngcingolo also mentioned that Potsane fell ill on Friday while the late star’s family requested privacy during their time of mourning.

Additionally, Shirley Adonisi, director of M-Net local entertainment channels, reacted to Dinkybliss’s passing at a young age, announcing, “Mzansi Magic is saddened to hear of the passing of one of the ‘Big Brother Mzansi’ season 3 contestants, Rethabile ‘Dinkybliss’ Potsane.”

According to Bukhosi Heshu-Ngcingolo, her partner informed him that Dinky fell ill on Friday morning. She had a mild fever though looked okay but as the day progressed, Dinky became weaker and weaker. Dinkybliss’s partner ran to the drugstore to provide medication and food for her because she was losing appetite,” Heshu-Ngcingolo told Sowetan.

Although official sources have not shared Dinkybliss’s cause of death at this time, we learned that on Saturday, she just felt more ill and woke up in a very bad state. She couldn’t speak correctly nor could she eat or walk. The actress called her partner and told him all that was occurring to her but he guessed she’d be okay.

It is understood that Potsane’s health condition continued to worsen on Saturday and her neighbors transported her to the hospital after she had requested them.

Fellow housemate and friend Thando Mcopela, aka Acacia, took to her Instagram story to pay tribute to the late socialite. The distraught friend said: “I’m going to miss hearing your voice, our endless phone calls, a week never went by without us checking up on one another,” adding that she will miss their “deep chats”
