  4. Sending my deepest condolences and love to Ebbe’s family and loved ones ♥ His loss will be felt through the virtual and real world and we’ll all miss him. Although I never had the honour of meeting Ebbe in the REAL world, he still impacted my life, as he did for many Second Life users. The interactions I had with him via Second Life were always wonderful. He was such a kind hearted, compassionate, incredible man. He created a wonderful world for us all, a place we could go to meet likeminded people, to enjoy many things that we’d never have had the opportunity to experience in real life. The music, the art, the culture, the creativity. Second Life has given people from all walks of life a safe place to go, a place to fully express themselves without the fear of judgement. Nobody gives you a second look if you’re covered from head to toe in tattoos and piercings, or if you have blue skin with pink spots, or if you fly around instead of walking. You can be anything or do anything, we all get to be that superhero if we want to, or the invisible man. We can build cities and great places of beauty. Second life has been and is a very special place and I’m so happy to have been a part of it for the past 10+ years and I hope to continue for many years to come. Thank you Ebbe from us all. Rest with the angels, the legacy you have left behind will be remembered always, you’ll always hold a very special place in our hearts. With love, Juliette ♥
