The young bodybuilder, known as “Da Bull,” unexpectedly passed away this week at only 37. George Peterson’s cause of death is still behind shadows.
The heartbreaking news of Geoge Peterson’s death was announced by officials from the Mr. Olympia competition. “It is with great sadness that we report the unexpected passing of George Peterson, a champion on stage and off,” the statement read.
“Our condolences go out to his family and all who respected and admired one of the kindest men we have ever known,” the organizers of Mr. Olympic added.

Peterson was found dead in his Florida hotel room just two days before he was due to compete in the prestigious Mr. Olympia contest.
He was in Orlando in order to prepare for the Olympia competition — which kicks off Wednesday.
The cause of George Peterson’s death is not yet clear, but his coach and long-time friend, Justin Miller, who found George deceased, provided additional details on his passing.

Peterson’s coach and close friend, Justin Miller, said that the young athlete was thrilled about his upcoming appearance in the competition.

The next day, Miller said his young friend was unable to reach Peterson’s neither phone nor text. He went up to Peterson’s room and found the 5-foot-7, 190-pound bodybuilder lying face-down on the floor.
Justin called 911 and proceeded to attempt CPR, but Peterson, who likely passed several hours earlier, could not be saved.
Retired bodybuilder Dave Palumbo told the YouTube show RxMuscle that George had some blood trickling out of his nose.
Peterson was a constant figure on the competitive bodybuilding circuit. He competed at shows across the country and won the Classic Physique competition at the 2019 Arnold Classic and the 2020 Tampa Pro titles.
