Although social media users said nothing about (The Hardy Boyz) Matt & Jeff Hardy’s dad Gilbert Hardy’s cause of death, they claimed he passed away Tuesday (April 6, 2021) at the age of 87. RIP.
Mr. Hardy, born in Moore Co. to the late Nero Wilson Hardy Sr. and Ida Reeves Hardy, was also preceded in death by his wife Ruby Mae Moore Hardy; brothers NW Hardy Jr. and David Hardy; and sisters Joyce Hardy and Josephine Hardy.
He leaves behind his sons Matt Hardy (Rebecca) of Cameron and Jeff Hardy (Elizabeth) of Cameron; and grandchildren Maxel D. Hardy, Wolfgang X. Hardy, Bartholomew K. Hardy, Nera Quinn Hardy, and Ruby Clair Hardy.
Gilbert Hardy’s obituary reported that his funeral will be held Sunday April 11, 2021 at 2pm at Johnson Grove Cemetery on Johnson Grove Rd. Vass NC 28394.
