Fans Mourning Over Jack Deloplaine’s Unexpected Death at 68


Sadly, we were informed of Jack Deloplaine’s death, announced on August 3, 2022. May he rest in peace. The cause has remained unknown since the tragedy is out.

Born on April 21, 1954, Jack grew up to become American football running back working in the National Football League.

To know a little more about the player must be noted that he led the NAIA in scoring in 1975 with 22 touchdowns in 11 games for a total of 132 points.

By the Pittsburgh Steelers out of Salem College, Jack was drafted in the sixth round (182nd overall) of the 1976 NFL Draft; although, it now goes by the name Salem International University in Salem, West Virginia.

Mr. Deloplaine played four seasons in league with:

  • The Pittsburgh Steelers,
  • The Washington Redskins,
  • The Chicago Bears, accumulating 165 yards rushing and two touchdowns, as well as two Super Bowl rings.

For his running ability in wet conditions, Mr. Deloplaine later was given the nickname “Hydroplane.”

Jack Deloplaine’s Death Comes Out As A Big Shock

Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back and Salem University graduate Jack ‘Hydroplane’ Deloplaine’s death was announced and confirmed by 12 News. He passed away at the age of 68.

To respect the legendary player’s family’s privacy, his cause of death is unrevealed to the public. No sign of deadly diseases or health issues was found in the background, yet.
