Small Teen Big World Star Jasmine Burkitt’s Cause of Death

With the most profound sorrow, we must inform you that the famous star of the movie ”Small Teen Big World” passed away on June 28, 2022, at the age of 28. Jasmine Burkitt’s cause of death was revealed by her fiancé on social media.

The television personality, known as Jazz, appeared in the channel’s documentary series Small Teen Big World and subsequent film Small Teen Bigger World over a decade ago. Back in 2010, Jasmine appeared in documentaries about being a teenager with dwarfism on BBC Three.

Small Teen, Bigger World aired in July 2010 and followed Burkitt’s life for over 12 months and made a difference in her life like capturing her 16th birthday, a trip to New York, and her efforts to track down her birth father.

She was an inspiring person to her friends and whoever know her during her short life. Burkitt had said at the time that she appeared on the show to encourage people to treat her as they would any other teenager, as opposed to ”treating her like a doll and… a baby”.

Last year, Burkitt and her fiancé, Burke spoke publicly about their life after being unable to secure a home through the council and living in a bell tent with their dog Loki in Bodelwyddan, Denbighshire.

Jasmine stood at 3ft 11ins and wanted to show everyone that she was just like any other teen despite being born with dwarfism. She took care of her mother, Beverley, who also had restricted growth. Jasmine cared for her mother until her death in 2014.

Jasmine Burkitt’s Cause of Death was Revealed

Her death was confirmed by her fiancé on his Facebook page. Lewis Burke said she had died after a life-long battle with a very serious mental illness. Her fiancé added: ”She is the most incredible human that ever walked this planet, she is the strongest, funniest, kindest and purely decent person I’ve ever known.”

He also shared his huge sadness and said: ”I am truly devastated. She changed my life forever and I’ll never be the same.”
