Bell worked at the Ibrox club for more than three decades and was a friend and inspiration to many generations of players and staff. The Rangers announced that beloved Jimmy Bell will be “so sadly missed by everyone” between the club.
He was an ex-employee of Parks’ of Hamilton and he initially led the Rangers team buses to games across the country, before entering his recent role as first-team head of kit. Rangers chairman, Douglas Park, reacted to the news, stating, “As a club, we are devastated to learn of the loss of our colleague and more importantly, our dear friend, Jimmy Bell.”
The statement added that Jimmy dedicated his life to Rangers Football Club. Working under managers from Graeme Souness through to Giovanni, he participated in some of the most remarkable days in their 150-year history. Of course, he was here in some of the lowest points, and presented selfless loyalty, while she faced the challenge ahead of him.

The news came out just days after Andrew Woolfolk’s cause of death was released. He passed away, announced officially on April 26, 2022, at the age of 71, due to a long-term illness.
