He was born on April 30, 2001, in New York City, U.S. In May, Lil Tjay was featured with Kaash Paige on her new single ”24 Hrs,” releasing his new single ”Goin Up” thereafter. Last April, Lil Tjay’s most recent album ”Destined 2 Win” was released.

On June 22, 2022, we received tragic news about Lil Tjay shot and fans are discussing rumors about his death on social media.

Lil Tjay’s best friend, rapper Pop Smoke, was his collaborator to fellow New York, who was shot and killed in February 2020. Lil Tjay released a tribute song just after Pop Smoke’s death, called ”Forever Pop.”

Lil Tjay is a rapper who most of the time uses Auto-Tune in his tracks. He was influenced by his Bronx background. Once in an interview, he talked about his major musical influences who are incredible singers, Drake, Meek Mill, and Usher.

Lil Tjay Shot, Is He Alive or Dead?

It has been reported that there were two shootings in Edgewater – one at a Chipotle and one at an Exxon gas station. At the first shooting, one person was shot multiple times at a Chipotle. It was at The Promenade shopping center in Edgewater, New Jersey, just across the Hudson River from Manhattan.

A second victim was shot once at a nearby Exxon gas station. The identity of the second victim is still unknown, and the suspected perpetrator (or perpetrators) are still at large. There has been a question about whether these shootings are just a consequence or more than that?!

Prosecutor Mark Musella reported ”Both victims were transported to an area hospital where they are being treated”. Police officers said the teams were investigating blood-stain towels and a bullet hole in the driver’s window of a red Dodge Durango.

Hours before shooting, Lil Tjay took to his Instagram story to write: “PSA – Just because you’ve been around a person doesn’t make you entitled to the fruits of that persons labor, “Envy Is At An All Time High Be Safe Outchea.”
