Actor Mahesh Babu’s cause of death has raised many questions as he died at the age of 48. The sad news was surfaced on social media on November 8, 2023.

Although the news is yet to be confirmed by Babu’s family, several social media users claimed the actor has died at 48. US day News does not confirm the breaking news till official sources verify it.

Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu was born on born 9 August 1975. in Madras, Tamil Nadu, India. He was known as an actor, producer, media personality, and philanthropist who worked mainly in Telugu cinema.

Referred to in the media and by his fans as Prince, Babu is one of the most popular actors of Telugu cinema.

Babu has appeared in more than 25 movies and won several accolades including, five Filmfare Telugu Awards, eight Nandi Awards, four SIIMA Awards, three CineMAA Awards, and one IIFA Utsavam Award.

The artist also owns the production house G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment. At the age of four, Mahesh made his debut as a child artist in a cameo role in Needa (1979) and acted in eight other films as a child artist.

He made his debut as a lead actor with Rajakumarudu in 1999 which earned him the Nandi Award for Best Male Debut. He also achieved his breakthrough with the supernatural drama Murari (2001), and the action movie Okkadu (2003).

Babu also appeared in other notable films such as Arjun (2004), Athadu (2005), Pokiri (2006), Dookudu (2011), Businessman (2012), Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (2013), Srimanthudu (2015), Bharat Ane Nenu (2018), Maharshi (2019), Sarileru Neekevvaru (2020) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022).

At this time there is no official report surrounding Mahesh Babu’s cause of death at the age of 48. May he rest in peace.

Babu began filming for Srikanth Addala‘s Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, whose script he had approved during the pre-production phase of Dookudu.

In 2014, Babu had two releases, the first one being Sukumar’s 1: Nenokkadine. The other release, Aagadu, was directed by Srinu Vaitla and co-starring Tamannaah,

His 2020 movie, Sarileru Neekevvaru (2020), collected ₹260 crores at the worldwide box office, becoming one of the highest-grossing Telugu films.

He is referred in the media as the “Superstar of Tollywood”, and “Prince Mahesh Babu”. His popularity has been documented in many Telugu movies such as Ashta Chamma (2008), Kiraak (2014), and Superstar Kidnap (2015).

Babu joined Twitter in April 2010 and had 13 million followers as of April 2023. The actor married actress Namrata Shirodkar in 2005, with whom he shared a son and a daughter
