In his time in wrestling, Crane held championships in No Peace Underground and Unsanctioned Pro, as well as touring Japan with GCW.
Born September 17, 1988, from Rock Island, Illinois, Crane was trained by Danny Daniels and Chris Hero and debuted in 2009.

Markus was decidedly a light-heavyweight in the deathmatch world, where many of the players competed at a larger size. Crane also worked for Game Changer Wrestling, Dreamwave, AAW, and more.
Markus had been wrestling since 2009 in promotions such as ICW, GCW, No Peace Underground & various others throughout the country. He also went on a tour of Japan to work with some of the great companies such as FREEDOMS & BJW.
Unfortunately, the wrestler was forced to retire in 2019 due to a skull injury. During this time away, Markus was still very actively involved in his Wrestling Community.
He had an emergency craniotomy to remove a part of his skull to allow treatment for the infection. A GoFundMe campaign had raised $22,350 to aid in Crane’s recovery.
Markus was training for an in-ring return and even had two very short matches this year, first against Kit Osbourne in GCW & the other teaming with his old partner SHLAK in H2O.
Most recently, Crane had been training the next generation of stars in the H2O Wrestling Center.
In an interview with the Yakuza Kick Radio podcast, Markus noted that Chris Jericho was one of his first favorite wrestlers. He described deathmatch wrestling to a podcast: “A lot of it is just adrenaline, closing my eyes and hoping I don’t die at the end of it.”
