The Emmy winner has passed away in his sleep on Monday, according to his son Peter, but he gave no other information related to his father Marvin Chomsky’s cause of death. May he rest in peace.

Marvin J. Chomsky was born on May 23, 1929, in New York City, and graduated from Syracuse University in 1950. Marvin was a cousin of the American linguist Noam Chomsky.

His early jobs in the motion picture and television industries included work as a set decorator, art director, and producer.
