Breaking Bad Actor Mike Batayeh’s Cause of Death Confirmed

Actor and comedian Mike Batayeh’s cause of death was disclosed by her family. He sadly passed away suddenly on June 1, 2023, his manager confirmed.

His family has said he died in his sleep of a heart attack while home in Michigan. His sister Diane said that his death was ‘very sudden’, as he didn’t have a history of heart issues.

His family said in a statement: “He will be greatly missed by those who loved him and his great ability to bring laughter and joy to so many.”

Batayeh starred in three episodes of Breaking Bad from 2011 until 2012. The series tells follows Walter White (Bryan Cranston) a chemistry teacher, who discovers that he has cancer and decides to get into the meth-cooking business to repay his medical debts, later partnering with Jesse Pinkman(Aaron Paul).

Mike was known to fans as the manager of Gustavo Fring’s laundromat in the TV show.

The laundromat, which Mike Batayeh’s character owned, was used as a disguise for the meth lab where Walter White and Jesse Pinkman turned out copious amounts of product.

In addition to his arc on Breaking Bad, Batayeh appeared on shows like Real Husbands of Hollywood and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

He made his television debut with a guest appearance on Everybody Loves Raymond in 1998.

Mike Batayeh’s Cause of Death Revealed by Family

Heart attack was announced as Mike Batayeh’s cause of death at age 52. The actor reportedly passed away in his sleep in his home state of Michigan.

Fans of the show have paid tribute to Batayeh on social media. “Very sad. Was a big fan of this series”, one person wrote on Twitter.

A long-time friend also wrote: “Mike Batayeh was one of my 1st & best friends in comedy in LA & a great comedian. He played Dennis in #BreakingBad of course.

“No matter how successful, he always included friends. Class act. Ask God to please go easy on us Jews, Mike. It will be a great favor coming from you RIP”.

As well as his appearance in Breaking Bad, Mike was a successful comic. He traveled the world and also did voiceover work.

Other TV appearances he did include The Bernie Mac Show, CSI: Miami, and Boy Meets World.

The actor will be honored during a celebration of life service on June 16, 2023. Batayeh’s funeral will be held on June 17.
