His first television appearance was as a mime on a children’s TV show in 1957.

Nino Castelnuovo first played in the film “Un maledetto imbroglio” (1959), which soon followed, and he built steam with very appreciated works such as Luchino Visconti’s 1960 film “Rocco and His Brothers.”
