One of his good friends shared on Twitter that yesterday, August 3, 2022, WFLA’s Paul Lamison left us behind unexpectedly.

According to Mr. Biunno, Paul Lamison was just 57 and was more than the voice of Eagle 8, more than the Chief Photographer as he brought pure joy to their newsroom every single day.

Mr. Biunno shared that #WFLANow viewers might recognize Paul’s masterful aerial reporting during the #GabbyPetito story.

As his good friend revealed, Mr. Paul was a steady voice of reason, providing perspective, insight, and clarity at a time when nothing seemed clear whenever searches raged on for weeks at the Carlton Reserve.

Our prayers and love are with his wife Nerissa and his daughters.
