American Poet Richard Howard Passed Away at the Age of 92

We are sad to announce to you that famous American poet, literary critic, essayist, teacher, and translator Richard Howard passed away on Thursday (31 March 2022) at the age of 92. He was a remarkable Pulitzer Prize winner who translated many French materials to English.

He succeeded to turn the boring monologues into an active voice of manner, and also translated translations of many famous authors’ works such as Roland Barthes, Alain Robbe-Grillet, and a lot of other French books and articles into English.

Richard Howard was a well-known professor emeritus at Columbia University who has published numerous academic articles in various fields such as English literature, poetry, and translation. According to his husband, David Alexander Howard was long-suffering from a disease.

Howard’s Death Cause Revealed after Passing
