Rumors Follow Actress Sophie Ndaba’s Cause of Death

Again! some controversial rumors are circulating about South African actress Sophie Ndaba’s cause of death after some social media users claimed she passed away on September 10, 2022, at the age of 49.

Sophie appeared as Queen Moroka in the soap Generations and in 2016, she was a guest judge in the final Miss South Africa 2016 beauty pageant. The actress graduated from high school in Zimbabwe, after which she followed her modeling career.

Sophie Ndaba’s mother sent her to an orphanage in Eastlea, Harare, so she had a chance to get a better education than what was obtainable in apartheid South Africa.

The rumors started to spread while it was not the first time she was reported dead.

On August 2022, Mzansi’s top actress Sophie Ndaba, famous as Queen Moroka on the SABC 1 soapie, officially returned to social media after taking a break for nine months after October 2019, after fake reports claimed she had lost her life.

Everything kicked off since the 49-year-old businesswoman disappeared and it caused fans to worry about her, knowing that Sophie Ndaba’s health condition was stated to be in a fragile state.

The hashtag #RIPSophieNdaba was all around social media, leaving many users heartbroken and baffled by the news. After learning what had occurred, Sophie posted on her Instagram account to address the death hoax which she described as “heartbreaking”.  

She wrote, “Hi darlings, it’s heartbreaking to read messages that I’m dead. It’s the second time this year this has happened and it’s extremely traumatic to my family and especially my kids. To address the rumors I’m alive and kicking God willing I’m not going anywhere anytime soon [sic].”

As it’s said, diabetes is serious and sensitive for her family, because Sophie as well as both her late parents were diabetic. Sophie Ndaba after got married one more time to Max Moeketsi Lichaba in a traditional ceremony in 2018.

They got separated in 2018 before eventually divorcing in a nasty public mudslide. Before that she tied the knot with Themba Ndaba back in 1998 with whom she later divorced.

Lwandle Ndaba, her son, is known to be a rapper, who composed a song meant to expose Max’s shenanigans and the song had the following lyrics: “You left your wife bruised up on the body. I won’t forget the day you hit her cause you cheated. You cheated with my best friend. She is young enough to be your daughter, R Kelly wanna-be,” according to the lyrics of the song”
