Terrence Clarke was a consensus five-star recruit and one of the best shooting guards in the 2020 class. He finished his high school at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.

Terrence Clarke passed away after a fatal accident

Klutch‘s 2021 draft class includes Jalen Johnson (Duke), Moses Moody (Arkansas), and Kai Jones (Texas). Other former Wildcats to sign with Klutch include Eric Bledsoe, Tyrese Maxey, Trey Lyles, and John Wall.

Over the team’s first seven games, Clarke ranked second on the team scoring, 1.9 assists per game, averaging 10.7 points to go along with 3.0 rebounds.

He had scored in double figures in four games, including a career-high 22 points on 9 of 14 shooting in a loss to Georgia Tech on December 6.

Terrence Clarke’s Car Accident Led to his Death

It is reported that Terrence Clarke died after a car accident, on April 22, at the age of 19. Clarke had fallen to No. 72 on ESPN‘s top 100 draft prospects for 2021 top-10 pick in the preseason.

Clarke then missed 17 games after a foot injury, returning to action vs. Mississippi State in the SEC Tournament and finishing with 2 points and three assists in 10 minutes.

Before his injury, Terrence was one of Kentucky’s biggest weapons.

Kentucky freshman forwards Isaiah Jackson, ranked No. 11 overall by ESPN, has also declared for the draft but plans to go through the draft process while maintaining his eligibility.

The 2021 NBA Draft will take place on July 29 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Terrence posted 12 points, four rebounds, four assists, and three steals in an 81–45 win over Morehead State in his college debut on November 25, 2020.

He played through the pain vs. Louisville before being sidelined for the conference season. He was the perfect teammate, offering his companions encouragement on the sidelines as he was recovering.

“As an adolescent, having the privilege to put on the Kentucky uniform and play in front of the BBN was always a lifelong goal of mine,” Kentucky Wildcats‘ player said when he declared for the Draft.
