Floyd Mayweather Ex Girlfriend Body Found In Car
Floyd Mayweather ex girlfriend mother of 3 of his children, Josie Harris passed away at the age of 40 and her dead body was found unresponsive in her car outside her home in Valencia, California, around 9:40 p.m. Tuesday.
Law enforcement sources revealed the outlet, officials were called to the home about 9:30 PM and when they entered, they found the Floyd Mayweather ex girlfriend unresponsive in her car. She was declared dead at the scene.
There does not seem to be any foul movement and the case is being treated as a death investigation as denied to a homicide probe.
The Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department confirmed Harris’ passing on its official website and revealed an investigation is currently ongoing.
“Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators have responded to the death of a woman,” an excerpt from the public statement read. The 40-year-old Harris is survived by sons 20-year-old Koraun, Zion Shamaree, 18; and a 15-year-old girl Jirah.
Harris and Mayweather dated from 1995 to 2010, had a violent relationship. The boxing legend spent 2 months in the Clark County Detention Center after he was convicted of attacking her in Las Vegas in September 2010.
Throughout the attack, their oldest son, Koraun, get out of the home and informed a security guard, who called the police. It was not the first time that police had been called for Floyd Mayweather
Mayweather later told Katie Couric that he was just trying to restrain Harris, who was high on drugs through the incident.

The ex girlfriend if Floyd Mayweather also published she was repeatedly violated by Mayweather, declared he entered her Las Vegas home while she slept, dragged her by her hair, and beat her in front of their kids.

However, Mayweather denied his ex girlfriend story about the indecent in 2015. “Did I restrain a woman that was on drugs? Yes, I did,” he told Katie Couric, “If they say that’s domestic violence, then, you know what? I’m guilty. I’m guilty of restraining someone.”
“I’m black. I’m rich. And I’m outspoken,” Mayweather told Katie Couric of the conviction in an interview. “Those are three strikes right there.”
She vociferously denied the accusation and responded with a lawsuit of $20million. “It was not Mayweather’s ‘restraint’ of Harris that caused her serious injuries, rather it was his beating of her,” her lawsuit stated.
Harris announced at the time that the fight started after a night out with the boxer that ended with him accusing her of cheating, even though the couple was separated at the time, and wanting to know her whereabouts when they were not together.

Finally, In 2014, Harris gave a sorry reflection of her time with Mayweather.
‘I was a battered woman,’ Harris said. ‘I felt embarrassed about saying I was a battered woman and felt shame and like it was my fault. What did I do? I didn’t understand what a battered woman was at that time.
‘Now I know I was in a very dysfunctional, hostile relationship and a victim of domestic violence.’

Also, their children were said to have witnessed a September 2010 violence incident after which Mayweather spent two months in jail. He called his father ‘a coward’ in the same interview his mother gave talking of her time with the boxer.
‘(My dad) said to lock my door and stay in my room,’ Koraun stated of the incident. ‘I went back into my room and locked the door and then ran back out my bathroom and then hopped over the gate and went to the main entrance gate. I just told (the guard) that my mom was getting hurt and to call the ambulance and the police.’
Additionally, in 2018, Harris went to court and filed emergency documents, asking a judge to force Mayweather to return their 17-year-old son Zion from Las Vegas to Los Angeles.
Harris announced that Zion had left California without her permission and she did not believe the boxer’s lifestyle, which includes being an owner of a strip club, was appropriate for a 17-year-old child.
Many messages asking comments from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were not immediately answered. Above all, the department has confirmed an active investigation into Harris’ death.
