The film, stage, and television actor and U.S. Army veteran Kevin Dobson’s death cause released after he passed away yesterday at the age of 77, according to a Facebook post from The United Veterans Council of San Joaquin County.
The actor was best known for his role in two long-running CBS dramas, Kojak and Knots Landing.
Not only he was an army veteran, but also was a veterans rights activist, film, and television actor. Knots Landing and Kojak star, Kevin Dobson, left his family, friends, and fans on September 6 reportedly due to medical complications.
‘The United Veterans Council regrets to inform you that our former Chairman and Army Veteran Kevin Dobson passed away this evening Sunday, September 6th, 2020 due to medical complications,’ a statement read.
Continuing: ‘Our condolences to his family and May he Rest In Peace. More information will be posted about his funeral services once available.’

But what was exactly Kevin Dobson’s death cause?

However, some sources reported that Dobson’s death was because of “medical complications,” while Forbes reported that his death was the result of a heart attack.
His rep, Arthur Toretzk, additionally explained that Kevin Dobson died in a Stockton, Calif., hospital after struggling with an autoimmune deficiency.

Who is Kevin Dobson?
Kevin, one of seven siblings, who was born on March 18, 1943, in Jackson Heights, New York, worked as trainmen, brakeman and conductor on the Long Island Railroad in New York followed by a few years as a waiter before he determined beginning his acting career.
In 1973, he was cast in the series-regular role of Det. Bobby Crocker on the police drama Kojak, opposite Telly Savalas. More than 10 years after the procedural wrapped, he reprised his role in the 1990 TV-movie Kojak.
He resumed acting during his life with a 2014 role in a short film called Full Circle his most recent credit.
He is famous for playing M. Patrick “Mack” MacKenzie in Knots landing from 1982 to 1993 and additionally played Det. Bobby Crocker through 117 episodes of crime drama Kojak between 1973 and 1978.
Recently he played Judge Devin Owens in iconic American soap The Bold and the Beautiful over 13 episodes between 2006 and 2007.

Dobson is survived by his wife Susan Dobson, Susan, married in 1968, and three children, two boys, Sean and Patrick, and his only daughter, Mariah Dobson.
