Leighton Meester’s baby with husband Adam Brody was born. They have welcomed their second child together. “I have a new kid,” Brody said on Twitch.

Leighton, 34, and OC actor Adam, 40, welcomed their son, and Adam confirmed the happy news on Twitch show The Fun Time Boys Game Night Spectacular to the seven other participants. He said: “I have a boy and he’s a dream, he’s a dream boy.”

“I have a new, yeah, since last I played, I have a new kid,” Brody said during the live stream. It’s clear that he is really happy so that he called their newest child “a dream boy”. Moreover, their first child, a four-year-old girl, Arlo Day, was born in 2015. But Meester has yet to comment on her new child’s birth and has remained mum on social media regarding the news.

It is interesting that little Arlo had explicitly told her mom and dad both of the guys shouldn’t work at the same time. Leighton’s also previously opened up her motherhood.

The pair have recently co-starred in Single Parents, Leighton in a leading role, and Adam turning up as a cameo. The Gossip Girl actress recently promoted her new partnership with Feeding America to support Hunger Action Month on her personal Instagram.

Leighton and Adam are firmly private for a Hollywood couple. They never officially announced the pregnancy news. It wasn’t until the paparazzi snapped a few shots of Leighton’s baby bump in April 2020 that the world understood that she is expecting her second child. Of course, their decision to shield their family from the attention should come as no surprise to their fans.

Leighton, the now mom-of-two, later snapped with her baby bump in April, while dad Adam pushed little Arlo in a pushchair.

Adam and Leighton decided to keep their personal lives out of the public eyes last year. They said they wouldn’t go to a lot of things that perhaps they could and don’t seek out promotion in that way. But they have found this great balance that really works. Also, they are not very active on social media.

Adam also shared that Leighton is more naturally private than he. He said that he never seeks publicity, but he would tell you everything about him if he sat next to you on the subway.

Leighton claimed that she doesn’t love anyone else and just loves her family, and she doesn’t even love herself as much as she loves them. “I don’t know, would I kill somebody or die for them? Sure. I would.”

In an interview, she said that she would never change anything because she is happy about where she is now. “I think that that’s one of the many wonderful parts of not only having a child and meeting your soulmate, but also I feel really lucky career-wise – really in a place that I want to be.”

The couple, are together since the 2011 movie The Oranges. They have got married in a secret wedding in Los Angeles on February 15, 2014, after getting engaged a year before.
