Although specifics of the fight have not yet been established, Tyson announced he took on this challenge to overcome his fears of making a comeback. Tyson was quoted as saying, “I equate this challenge with overcoming my fear of getting back into the ring at 54 years of age.”

Tyson also said is trying to exercise to prepare himself to reach his highest potential which would allow him to step up to the challenge of winning anything that scares him.

This battle with a Great white shark could be the final stage before Tyson chooses to step back into the boxing ring.

“I learned from this experience doing Shark Week that whatever intimidates me, I am still able to step up to the challenge of overcoming anything that would prevent me from accomplishing my life’s mission of reaching my highest potential in life and bringing me closer to God.”
