Danny Glover Confirms Split from Wife Eliane Cavalleiro
Legendary Lethal Weapon star Danny Glover split from his wife Eliane Cavalleiro. The secret was revealed when the photos of Glover during a trip to Sardinia surfaced online.
He has confirmed his split and divorce from his second wife after he was snapped frolicking with realtor Regina Murray during an exciting trip to Sardinia on Monday.
The Color Purple went shirtless, ring-free, and donned a pair of cropped black bottoms. Danny and Regina looked to be thoroughly enjoying the holiday as the two soaked up the sun during the beach outing.
Regina, who goes by the name of Gina, looked stunning as she showed off her figure in a pink bikini, which she wore with body beads around her waist.
Cavalleiro teamed her swimwear with a white floppy hat, large gold hooped earrings, and gold-rimmed sunglasses. The beauty was keen to capture memorable pictures from their trip.
In the photos, Murray was seen snapping a number of pictures with Glover, before getting him to snap her as she posed up a storm in the sea.
The Angels in the Outfield star shares two stepsons with Cavalleiro. He also has a daughter, Mandisa, from his marriage to Asake Bomani. The former couple tied the knot in 1975 and split in 2000.

Danny Glover Split from Eliane Cavalleiro
Operation Dumbo Drop star Danny Glover split from Eliane Cavalleiro as the shirtless actor, 75, ditches his wedding ring to frolic with bikini-clad realtor Murray in Sardinia.
Danny and Murray walked the red carpet together at the Filming Italy 2022 red carpet in June in Santa Margherita di Pula, Italy.
Moreover, she shared a picture of the pair together on her Instagram on July 23, 2022, writing: “Happy Birthday to the ‘Mista’. Many blessings to ya!!!’
It comes after American actor Mel Gibson revealed earlier this year that his long-time co-star Glover will make an appearance in the Lethal Weapon film, reprising his role as LAPD Sergeant Roger Murtaugh.
The 66-year-old star also told how he asked for Glover’s blessing to direct the movie following the passing of director Richard Donner – who was responsible for the first four films.
The actor said that he wish he was not directing the movie. He added: ‘I wish I wasn’t directing it. I wish Richard Donner was still here to do it but left us untimely, and he actually asked me, he said “Hey kid, if I don’t make it, you’ll take the reins, huh?” I told him to shut up. I think it’s an honor for me to be able to carry the flag for him’.
And after getting Donner’s blessing, Gibson told how he then turned to Glover to ask his thoughts on him directing, also confirming that Glover was on board with reprising his iconic role.
In an interview, Mel, who plays detective Martin Riggs, said: ‘Yeah, I am directing that. I’m really looking forward to it.’ The actor went on to add that his place behind the camera was bittersweet after the passing of Richard, who died in July 2021.
Though the plot of the 5th film in the franchise is as yet unknown, Glover told how he has complete faith in Gibson, saying: ‘I know Danny’s going to pull it off real well, too. He’s kind of like the show pony in this one.’
The upcoming movie is expected to enter the production phase at an unknown date in 2022.
