American rapper who is one of the most prominent members of the SoundCloud rap scene is mourning a great loss! Lil Pump’s dad passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 70. May he rest in peace.

The heartbreaking death news was shared and confirmed by Gazzy Garcia, known professionally as Lil Pump, in an Instagram post. He shared a photo of himself beside his dad. He wrote in the caption, “RIP to my dad, I love you & miss u. this one really hurt me.”
While the rapper is in the heart of a controversial life, well known for his minimalist music and hyperactive public persona, where he is often shown taking drugs, including, marijuana, lean, and Xanax, people love him and his fans form a large community.
Soon after he expressed his sadness on social media, his followers, over 15M on Instagram, started to share their tributes. A fan replied, “God bless you and your dad, death is just the beginning brother.”
Lil Pump came to fame in 2017 with the single “Gucci Gang“, which took place at number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The Recording Industry Association of America certified the music five times platinum.
His other singles include “I Love It” (with Kanye West), “Esskeetit”, “Drug Addicts”, “Butterfly Doors”, “Racks on Racks“, “Be Like Me” (starring Lil Wayne), and “Welcome to the Party” from the Deadpool 2 soundtrack.
