However, Jennifer Lopez cannot contain her excitement for her Super Bowl LIV halftime show performance. A gig she likened to “winning an Oscar,” the 50-year-old superstar has worked tirelessly for months to put together a show viewers will remember.

Following in the steps of big names before her, including Maroon 5, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Madonna, the list continues, Alex Rodriguez‘s other half appears to be 100% dedicated to the task. She’s now provided her fanbase a ton of sneak peeks back of the scenes of performances via her social media accounts.

Lopez was first named as the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show performer back in September when it was additionally declared she will be joined on stage by Colombian sensation Shakira.

Importance of half-time intermission

Over the years, the half-time intermission has grown into more and more of a spectacle; each musician to grace the field’s step seems to outdo the next, their sets filled with elaborate pyrotechnics and even more dazzling costumes.

This year, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira are co-headlining the 2020 Super Bowl. In honor of their upcoming halftime performance.

Both Lopez and Shakira have had significant success in the pop and Latin charts over the years. Lopez published her debut in 1999 and topped the charts with songs like “If You Had My Love” and “I’m Real.” Shakira released her first album in 1991 and had multiplatinum sales with 2001’s “Laundry Service.”


Remembering of Bryant’s death

Shakira told that when she and Lopez hit the stage it will represent “a very important moment for our community in this country.” She continued that it would serve as “a reminder of the heritage of this country, which is one of diversity and that’s what we will be celebrating on Sunday.”

Both singers stated they found about Bryant’s death from their partners. Bryant had attended concerts by both performers and both women had befriended the basketball superstar.

Super Bowl Halftime performers, Shakira, and Jennifer Lopez, promised to remember Death Of Kobe Bryant at the Super Bowl 54 halftime show in Miami on Sunday.

The Kansas City Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers at Hard Rock Stadium specifically a week after the death of Bryant; his 13-year-old girl, Gianna; and seven other people in a helicopter crash in California.

Bryant, a five-time NBA champion and 18-time All-Star with the Los Angeles Lakers, was a role model for many of the NFL players who will take the field Sunday.
