Tom Hanks’s wife, Rita Wilson Almost Knocked Over by Fans
Fans are talking and discussing last night’s incident. Rita Wilson, Tom Hanks’s wife was nearly knocked down by his fans when they were trying to take a picture with him. Tom Hanks backed his wife up and tried to defend her.
The story has been told that on Wednesday night, Hanks and Wilson were walking to their car in New York City when a large group of fans began to crowd around them. One fan reportedly bumped into Wilson, nearly knocking her over.
The Weekly Cut posted a video on Twitter that showed Wilson was turning to the group of people following them and shouting, “Stop it!”. After that Hanks put himself between Wilson and the crowd and shouted, “This is my wife, back the f*** off!”
It has been said that as Hanks and Wilson were near their car, one person appears to push into another fan who is walking directly behind Wilson. The man is then pushed into her, and because of that, she stumbles.
Some reports claim and some videos show that several fans appeared to apologize to Tom Hanks’s wife and himself as the actor was then escorted to the car waiting on the street. So as the couple got into their car that was waiting for them, fans who were embarrassed, called after them, saying: “Sorry about that, Tom.”
Tom Hanks was born on July 9, 1956. He is an American actor, screenwriter, director, producer, and voice actor who also is a two-time winner of The Academy Award for his roles in Philadelphia, and Forrest Gump.

People had different reactions to this incident. Some of them defended Hanks and others believed that his Behavior was Inappropriate. One fan began discussing the way celebrities are treated by fans out in public and added: “Honestly, go Tom Hanks. people don’t respect celebrities at alllllll. they’re people too.”
Many tweeted that Hanks reacted like a normal human being and that if any of us were in his shoes we would do the same thing. The thing that most shocked people was that]they never saw Hanks angry or shouting.
