Two days ago, three suspects of a Sevierville Walmart active shooter were arrested after a “gun sounding like an assault rifle was heard” at the Tennessee store.

Police and emergency services were called to the superstore on Dolly Parton Parkway in Sevierville.

Many shoppers were rushed out of the store, with some taking shelter at a nearby Chick-Fil-A, according to reports. Also, one shot was fired inside the store.

Customers were then informed by police that a gunman was moving through the store. Sevierville Police confirmed three people have since been detained after one gunshot was fired in the store.

A nearby Chick-Fil-A was harboring about two dozen people and has turned off its lights and locked the doors, according to manager David Simms.

Several law enforcement agencies and first responders were on the scene in the 1400 block of the Parkway.
