Kanawha Elkview Shooting Led to the Death of a Family!


Kanawha Elkview shooting led to the death of a family in their own house; parents and two young boys.

A relative found the bodies on Sunday morning at about 10:40 a.m. That person went to a neighbor’s house and called 911.

Deputy Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is at the scene of a multiple murder in the 1300 block of Cemetery Hill Drive in Elkview.

KCSO spokesman, Brian Humphries, presented a few pieces of information about the incident that occurred near the former Myers Funeral Home.

Officials said two young boys were found among the four dead bodies in the home in Elkview. Kanawha County Sheriff Mike Rutherford said two adults and two boys the ages of 12 and 3 were found dead earlier this morning.

Rutherford also said they have been able to locate a fifth member of the family, who is a teenager, but did not give any other details.

At this time, there are no leads or suspects. No information was provided about a potential suspect or suspects. The victims’ identities were not immediately released.

Multi-cars shooting in Hazelwood MO, near the Chop Shop, put the area in danger last night.

Police are investigating the shooting in front of the Chop Shop parking lot in Hazelwood, and there were multiple cars involved.

Police said a white Pontiac also crashed into a median. There were a lot of shell casings found by police in front of the business.

Video from the scene shows a white sedan in Lindbergh’s median with about ten bullet holes in the driver’s side.

Police had lanes of the road closed while they investigated. There were more than 20 evidence markers placed in a nearby parking lot.
