Knoxville Double Homicide Shooting Left Victim

Knoxville double homicide shooting has left victims in East Knoxville on Ben Hur Avenue near the Five Points area.

The shooting left two people dead, and one injured. The wounded had non-life-threatening injuries, according to KPD.

Officers responded to a call around 4:13 a.m. after a gunshot victim arrived at UT Medical Center early Sunday morning. The victim drove themselves in their own vehicle and seems to have non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers were told that the shooting happened in the 600 blocks of Ben Hur Avenue near Selma Avenue.

Other officers responded to the location of Knoxville double homicide shooting and found two gunshot victims were inside a building near 603 Ben Hur Avenue. They were proclaimed dead at the scene.

The identity of the victims is not being released and KPD’s Violent Crime Unit is investigating the incident and urges anyone with information about the shooting to call investigator Preston Whillock at 865-215-7315.

KPD investigating shooting with injury at a North Knoxville apartment complex, Tennessee, is continuing.

The Knoxville Police Department is investigating an overnight shooting in a North Knoxville apartment complex. KPD responded to calls of shooting with injury on Warner Drive around 11 p.m. on Friday night.

Officers arrived on the scene just outside Carriage Hill Apartments.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office said it is searching for a shooting suspect as well as victims after a shooting in North Knoxville Friday. 

The incident happened shortly before 1 a.m. Jul 31 in the 2700-block of Rifle Range Road, KCSO said. 

When assistants arrived, they arrested one person and found several mobile homes destroyed as a result of the shooting.
