A McKees Rocks club shooting early Friday led to the death of two people and injuring three others in western Pennsylvania, according to Allegheny County police.

The fatal incident occurred at approximately 2:34 a.m., in the 800 block of Island Avenue, outside the Club Erotica strip club, where according to Club Erotica’s website is open until 4 a.m.

Allegheny County 911 was notified of the McKees Rocks club shooting, according to county police. Then officials called to assist in the situation.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call the County Police Tip Line (833) ALL-TIPS or (833) 255-8477. Callers can remain anonymous.


McKees Rocks Club Shooting’s Injuries

When police arrived at the scene, first responders discovered five victims suffering from serious gunshot wounds.

Unfortunately two were pronounced dead at the scene, police reported. Three other people were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their conditions are still unknown. 

Although the shooting is under investigation by homicide detectives at this time, authorities have not released any names yet and no other information is available.

Police found many gunshot casings in the parking lot and Island Avenue shut down for multiple hours and reopened shortly after 7 a.m.

No arrests have been made.

Dr. Bharat Narumanchi and Dr. Katherine Dodson were found dead inside the building from possible gunshot wounds. It resembles that Dr. Narumanchi had shot himself following shooting Dr. Dodson, according to police.

A 911 call came in at about 4:30 p.m. regarding a man entering the doctor’s office in the 1900 block, West 35th Street, with a gun. While police appeared, they found someone who had locked themselves inside, and that is when the SWAT team was called in, as police reported.
