Milwaukee Walmart Shooting: Police Found 3 Injured Men

Three people were injured in a Milwaukee Walmart shooting, Wisconsin, on Sunday.

The shooting took place at about 1:30 p.m. local time at the E. Capitol Drive Walmart. The motive of the shooting was not clear.

There were different reports on whether the shooting was inside the store or in the parking lot. However, a Walmart spokesperson stated the shooting did not happen inside the store.

Reports from police: An 18-year-old man, a 20-year-old man, and a 29-year-old woman were shot in the incident.

Police received calls from 400 blocks of East Capitol Drive. Responding to the reports, They found 3 men with gunshot wounds.

The victims were taken to the nearest hospital to be treated for their injuries. Police are in the early stages of the investigation.

The Walmart store has been closed until the police investigation is concluded. Until now, no arrests have been made. Police said an investigation is undertaken.

“We are working with law enforcement and will reopen in consultation with them,” the spokesperson said.

Guillermo “Memo” Garcia lost his life in late April 2020, according to his wife, Jessica Coco Garcia. It indicates that all 23 people have died in the 2019 attack.

“He fought long and hard, with the help of all his troops he won many battles, but lost the war,” Garcia said in the statement.

“We would like to ask the community to continue to lift the Memo in prayer and allow us to grieve this tremendous loss. We are asking for privacy during this time.” She added.

Police have not elaborated on what led to the shooting. No other details have been released so far.
