Officials believe the victim was coming back to her car from the mall when she was approached, robbed, and shot. She reportedly parked in a spot but was followed by the robber in a white sedan who pulled in behind her, blocking her into the spot.

The male suspect of Opry Mills Mall shooting shot the woman and fled the scene, police added.

No complete description of the suspect was available and no other injuries were reported at this time, the only additional information we have is saying according to multiple reports, the mall is being evacuated as a precaution.

Metro police are working with mall security to review security footage and still looking for the suspect. Also, they said the car is white with a sunroof and a black or missing gas cap.
