Shooting in Puyallup After 2 Cars Crashed and Hit McDonald
Shooting in Puyallup after two cars crashed and one of them hit McDonald at 304 2nd Street NE in Puyallup.
Puyallup Police are investigating a shooting after2 cars crashed each other and one car hit a McDonald’s building but did not cause significant damage. Both vehicles were damaged in the conflict.
Puyallup police are searching for a suspect after a crash and shooting late Tuesday night, before 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One suspect is at large. Investigators said the suspect left the scene on foot.
The bypass near the Puyallup McDonald’s is closed while police investigate. Police have identified the suspect but they have not found him or brought him into custody.
Crash and shooting in Puyallup
According to police, a man went to McDonald especially to confront someone who allegedly attacked his female friend. The dispute was between men in two different vehicles. The suspect in a Ford Focus crashed a black Acura when the people inside started shooting in reply.
He intentionally drove his car to another vehicle, according to police. When the cars crashed together, one hit into the McDonald’s building.
The man got out of his car after intentionally driving it into another car and began hitting the other tenants a crowbar, police said.
Investigators believe the driver of the Acura accidentally shot his passenger in the armpit. One person was shot and was moved to an area hospital with non-life-threatening wounds. Another person was sent to the hospital for a head injury from the crowbar assault.
One person shot at McDonald’s in downtown Puyallup
The shooting happened at the McDonald’s on 304 2nd St NE after 10 p.m. July 21.
According to police, there was a large fight when someone went to a car, pulled out a gun, and fired. One person was hit non-life-threatening injuries in the leg.
The suspect was identified as an African American male. He was armed with an AR-15 assault rifle.
