Five injured and one died on Thursday in a Washington DC Shooting, D.C., near the White House, in the parking lot of an apartment block, police said. It happened at about 10: p.m. in the courtyard of a shopping complex on Columbia Road near 13th Street Northwest in Columbia Heights. Homicide investigators called to the scene, as D.C. police stated.
Police tell they received a report for a Washington DC shooting in the 1300 block of Columbia Road NW at around 10:06 p.m. Based on police reports six people were injured and transported to a nearby hospital with injuries ranging from non-crucial to serious.
Four of the surviving victims are men, and one of them is a woman.
Police have not arrested a suspect as yet and do not know the motivation for the Washington DC shooting, also, they believed that this shooting is not an active shooting situation.
