Washington St Lynn Mass Shooting Leaves One Dead, Many Injured
Washington St Lynn Mass shooting ended after at least one person died and many injured.
The Lynn Police Department responded to the fatal shooting in the area of Quincy Terrace and Washington Street in Massachusetts.
Lynn Police Lt. Thomas Reddy said the incident happened at about 5 p.m. on Saturday. There is no information about the conditions of the victims.
It was reported that there were five gunshot victims, with four of them taken to Mass General Hospital in Boston. A 25-year-old man has died of his injuries.
Thomas Reddy said the area around the shootings was evacuated because police were attending an active investigation.
Thomas Reddy also said he does not know if there was any connection among the victims.
Police Investigate Washington St Lynn Mass Shooting Death
According to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office, police responded to a call for shots fired shortly after 5.
A neighbor called the police. He said he was not surprised that a shooting happened in Lynn, Massachusetts, but there was not often violence in his neighborhood.
A large police presence was located in Quincy Terrace and Washington Street and spread out over several city blocks.
Another neighbor on Washington Street said that he heard more gunshots than he could count at about 5:30 p.m. The witness also said he saw four people going down.
Lynn police said the shooting suspect remained at large, with no immediate threat to the public. The Essex County District Attorney’s office did not immediately caution, typically the case with fatal crimes.
Some hours ago, a suspicious Alabama Phenix city KFC shooting led to the death of a man who was shot multiple times. His body was sent for an autopsy.
According to Russell County Arthur Sumbry, Jr., a man in his 30s died at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus at 8:30 p.m.
It seems the victim was shot multiple times. The police have not released his identity yet. The victim’s body goes for an autopsy on Monday.
