Yaya Mayweather Jail time is to come. Iyanna is reportedly facing up to 20 years in prison for a recent stabbing incident.

Floyd Mayweather’s 19-year-old daughter is encountering some serious time behind bars.

Iyanna Yaya Mayweather Arrested stabbing over YoungBoy NBA earlier this month, convicted of stabbing Lapattra Jacobs, the mother of Young Boy NBA’s child at NBA‘s mansion in Houston.

Iyanna was charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on Saturday, April 4 for stabbing a woman who shares a baby with Yaya’s boyfriend.

Consequently, due to a report, she’s looking for the best possible legal counsel and hired famed attorney Kurt Schaffer. He once defended Rap-A-Lot Records founder J. Prince, to take her case and was successful.

As it has not been confirmed whether Iyanna’s crime is a first or second-degree felony. Sentencing guidelines for this charge could start from 5 YEARS in state prison and a $10,000 fine.

She was sat freed temporarily after posting a $30,000 bail. It should be remarked, it seems Yaya has no criminal report, and she has not yet been charged with any crime. Therefore, it could be much less. Plus, she has a really good lawyer.

Yaya Mayweather Jail time could last up to 99 years

Mayweather stands accused of stabbing Jacobs with a knife two times. Authorities were called to YoungBoy’s home last Saturday (April 4) where EMTs found Jacobs bloody and on the floor.

YoungBoy was temporarily handcuffed as a precautionary measure, while Iyanna was transported to Harris County prison. Succeeding the evening, YoungBoy went on an Instagram Live harangue, blasting Kodak Black for claiming he “cooperated” with police.

Schaffer announced Floyd Mayweather’s 19-year-old daughter’s purpose to solicit that she is not guilty while she appears before court in August 2020.

If condemned, she could be sentenced to 99 years in prison and a $10,000 fine

However, the state’s Penal Code also asserts that a person guilty of second-degree felony assault stands a minor sentence of between two and 20 years, with a fine of no more than $10,000.

Law enforcement reported that the quarrel moved into YoungBoy’s kitchen, where Mayweather grabbed two knives and charged at the mother. The quarrel also resulted in Jacob’s hospitalization and Mayweather’s arrest.

Yaya Mayweather apparently has to spend birthdays in jail. Earlier the incident, she had posted on her Twitter about her birthday coming and tik to plan with her boyfriend;

Mayweather defense lawyer – YoungBoy status

According to a news release, Mayweather was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. It’s an armed attack, and if the felony is affirmed as a crime, It can carry a heavy sentence. 

The Blast points out that it’s doubtful if she receives the maximum sentence, as she doesn’t appear to have any criminal background. 

It’s also deserving noting Mayweather is being represented by Kurt Schaffer, a celebrated lawyer who has served for figures like Slim Thug, Pimp C, and Rap-A-Lot Records CEO J Prince.

“Iyanna is doing fine; although she remains shaken by this unfortunate incident,” Schaffer said Bossip.

According to Kent Schaffer, he is a felonious defense lawyer with more than 30 years of activity. He has represented public celebrities, know figures, and has been involved in high-profile cases.

To name some of his clients; the former Houston Mayor Fred Hofheinz, President of the FLDS Church Wendell Nielsen, and celebrities Farrah Fawcett, Tom Sizemore, and Chace Crawford are remarkable.

It’s argued that Mayweather was “doing fine” although she remained “shaken” by the incident, as she was expected to be acquitted.

YoungBoy was reportedly involved in a shooting as well, near Trump International Beach Resort in Sunny Isles, Miami-Dade County, Florida, in May 2019. His former girlfriend, Kay Marie, was wounded in the shooting incident.

NBA YoungBoy, who seems to have not been actively concerned with the fight, was assumed to be home at the time. He was also momentarily handcuffed, however, he was later discharged as his fiancee YaYa was taken to Harris County Jail.
