As mentioned above, the Brands Hatch Marshal killed in the crash has been revealed and confirmed. A volunteer marshal sadly passed away after being hit by a car that spun off the track.
The incident happened during a race at the Brands Hatch circuit. According to sources, the car had rolled multiple times before colliding with the marshal’s post.
At 3 pm on Saturday, the paramedics and police were sent to the track near Dartford, Kent. Later on, an air ambulance landed on the circuit.
It is said that the accident occurred at a British Automobile Racing Club meeting while two drivers made contact along the start-finish straight at the Kent circuit.
According to sources, the second person on foot who got injured in the event and the driver of the car were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

George Russell, Williams F1 driver, wrote on Twitter: “So saddened to hear that a volunteer marshal lost their life at Brands Hatch yesterday. These men and women give up their time to allow us to do what we love. We couldn’t do it without them. My thoughts are with their family, friends, and fellow marshals today. Rest in peace.”
Damon Hill, 1996 F1 champion, also said: “Today’s motorsport will be a tribute to all marshals, but especially those who have lost everything so we can race.”
Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time Formula 1 champion, shared on Instagram: “Devastated to hear of the passing of a marshal at Brands Hatch circuit yesterday. These volunteer marshals are what makes racing possible; they are our heroes. My heart is with his family.”
