Cold Civil War: Biden Wants to Silence Giuliani
Rush Limbaugh says America is in the middle of a “Cold Civil War” while Biden wants to silence Giuliani and Trump is on the “cusp” of exposing corruption on Capitol Hill.
Rush Limbaugh, who is a conservative radio host, announced America is in the middle of a “Cold Civil War,” and suggests the whistleblower complaint is another effort to overturn the 2016 presidential election.
He also mentioned “There really is no whistleblower. This is just a leaker who followed procedures that have been established to give whistleblowers protection.”
Limbaugh put forth that the “Cold Civil War” includes overturning “the election results of 2016” and “protecting and defending” the Washington establishment.”
“Their careers, their fortunes, their corruption. There are terribly big stakes involved here for these people. And Trump is on the cusp of overturning it and exposing it,” Limbaugh stated.
“Their careers, their fortunes, their corruption. There are terribly big stakes involved here for these people. And Trump is on the cusp of overturning it and exposing it,” Limbaugh added and he named the latest developments involving Ukraine “nothing more than the Steele dossier 2.0,” alluding that it is an extension of the Russia investigation.
“It’s the same people, it’s the same scam, it’s the same objective,” Limbaugh continued.
Joe Biden and America in cold civil war
Joe Biden’s presidential campaign officials have apparently had enough of Rudy Giuliani. Senior adviser Anita Dunn and deputy campaign manager Kate Bedingfield emailed news network officials Sunday, asking them to end existing and future plans to have Donald Trump’s lawyer on air.
“While you often fact check his statements in real-time during your discussions, that is no longer enough,” they said. “By giving him your air time, you are allowing him to introduce increasingly unhinged, unfounded and desperate lies into the national conversation.”
The campaign leaders cited new coverage of Hunter Biden’s business in the Ukraine and China as one of the reasons for having the lawyer and mayor of New York off the air.
In an appearance last week, Giuliani stated he didn’t ask Ukrainian officials to investigate Joe Biden and his son for bribery and then, about less than 30 seconds next, reversed himself and announced: “of course I did.”
Nevertheless, Previous New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, the president’s personal lawyer, Sunday reacted to the Biden campaign’s demand that TV networks stop booking him, saying the Biden camp wants to silence him out of concern about the questions he is raising about the former vice president and his son.
“I’ve never heard of a candidate saying that a critic demanding that the media shut down and silence someone who is raising legitimate questions about him,” Giuliani told the Washington Examiner. “Remember, I believe the reason for it is that today, I didn’t just raise questions. I produced something that the other side has never had — an affidavit from a witness under oath, not a completely wrong anonymous witness.”
He added, “The one thing about corrupt politicians is, they’re used to lying and they’re used to a fawning press, particularly if they’re Democrats … and they cannot handle the fact if somebody is standing up to them, so they’re sending their Democratic media to find any anything they can find to spoil my reputation. All they’re trying to do is kill the messenger and silence the messenger. But they’re not answering the message.”
Giuliani’s defense of Trump’s phone call to Ukrainian President
In an attempt to keep the former New York City mayor from talking about former vice president Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, in connection with Ukraine on broadcast TV, the Biden campaign sent a letter Sunday to ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and Fox News claiming Giuliani “will knowingly and willingly lie in order to advance his own narrative.”
“While you often fact check his statements in real-time during your discussions, that is no longer enough. By giving him your air time, you are allowing him to introduce increasingly unhinged, unfounded and desperate lies into the national conversation,” the Biden campaign wrote in a letter.
He continued in his letter, “We write to demand that in the service to the facts, you no longer book Rudy Giuliani, a surrogate for Donald Trump who has demonstrated that he will knowingly and willingly lie in order to advance his own narrative.”
The Trump White House mentioned a 2018 video showing the elder Biden bragging about threatening to hold back $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees if Ukraine did not terminate Shokin from his post.
Giuliani supports Trump’s Ukraine call
Giuliani additionally defended Trump’s Ukraine call and stating it would have been unconstitutional had he not suggested to investigate charges of corruption by the former vice president.
“The affidavit that I produced today is from a man that’s willing to testify in court against him under oath. And say that he intimidated the president of Ukraine, bribed him, extorted him and got him to fire the prosecutor in order to fix the case against his son and it actually happened,” Giuliani said.
He added, “He could also testify that everything they are telling is false. There never was an investigation of Biden. However, if there was let them produce the report. There isn’t any report. They have lied and said that Hunter Biden was not under investigation or that the Burisma case was closed. This sworn says just the opposite. I think they are shook to their core, which I must say, reminds me of my investigations of corruption in the ’70s and the ’80s.”
