I 71 North Columbus Crash Leaves at Least 1 Killed & 1 Injured
At least one driver was killed, and one another driver was critically injured in the I 71 north Columbus crash.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, a 2002 GMC Yukon, traveling northbound, and a 2015 Dodge Charger, traveling southbound, crashed head-on near Cleveland Avenue and Bonham Avenue’s intersection.
The Dodge driver, unfortunately, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released his identity and notification of next of kin.
The GMC driver was taken to Grant Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported. Police are investigating the crash in north Columbus.
Two Drivers Hurt in I 71 North Columbus Crash
One person died during an accident on I-71 on the north side of Columbus on November 13.
Officers were responded to the crash on I-71 south near East Hudson Street shortly after 1 a.m.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two people were killed and one another seriously injured in a Commerce City car crash; one of the victims was an officer in October.
During this three-vehicle crash, a Ford F350 headed south on Colorado 2 traveled off the right side of the road onto the shoulder before returning to the roadway.
It collided with an unmarked Commerce City Police Department Ford Explorer and a Kia Soul that were northbound. The F350 struck the Explorer head-on and collided with the driver’s side of the Kia.
According to the State Patrol, the police officer and the Kia driver was killed; the State Patrol identified neither.
