OJ Simpson joined Twitter After 25th Anniversary of Ex-Wife’s Murder

On Friday, OJ Simpson joined Twitter following the 25th anniversary of his ex-wife’s murder, Nicole Brown, and her friend Ron Goldman.

O.J. now age 71 is a retired NFL star and actor who pleaded non-guilty and was acquitted in 1995 for this double-murder. He then spent several years in prison for an unrelated case.

His first tweet read: ” Coming soon!!!” and had a selfie video to it. This is the first time that O.J. Simpson joins social media and many suspect it is to settle some scores. It is has now been one year that he is in parol.

His video goes on saying: ”Hey Twitter world, this is yours truly. Now, coming soon to Twitter, you’ll get to read my thoughts and opinions on just about everything.”

Many other O.J. Simpson accounts had been created but as he states they were all ”fake accounts” and the only one to follow is the real one which is @TheRealOJ32.

He finishes his video by stating that he has ” a little getting even to do” and smiles. Many could speculate what this getting to do is about.

OJ Simpson joined Twitter on Ex-Wife’s Murder Anniversary

O.J. Simpson was released from prison after spending nine years in prison for being involved in the 2007 botched armed robbery in the city of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Now in his profile picture, you can see him sitting on a couch and smiling in a suit with a tie.

Joining twitter is a way for him to make sure that whatever you hear, if you didnt hear it on his twitter account was not said by him.

Like many other celebrities, this social media platform is the best way to have a direct connection with fans and express himself without his words being taken out of context or filtered.

Since he joinded Twitter, the former NFL star started following his lawyer, son and famous sports journalist Tim Graham.

Many still speculate and believe he was the murdered of his ex-wife and his friend but this case is now closed and perhaps the truth will never be known.

This was also known as the ”trial of the century” in terms of the most controversial case murder in U.S. history who came to oppose black vs. white in a spectacle and disgrace.

It is also what inspired the hit and critically aclaimed 2016 FX miniseries American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson who also won an Oscar.
