Trump Nobel Peace Prize will be Accrued? Who will be Awarded? Christian Tybring-Gjedde, said in a podcast on Wednesday that Trump “should be awarded” for his role in brokering an old peace deal between the United Arab Emirates and Israel.
President Trump was nominated by Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament, who praised Trump for resolving conflicts worldwide.
Tybring-Gjedde said that he thinks Trump has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees.
Tybring-Gjedde, a lawmaker with the populist Progress Party, is a four-term member of Parliament and also serves as chairman of the Norwegian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. He claimed that Trump’s presidency played a crucial role in establishing relations between The United Arab Emirates and Israel.
Tybring-Gjedde, like Trump, is firmly against immigration, and once compared the hijab to outfits worn by the Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan.
A person can nominate another if they are national associations, national governments, a previous prize winner, or university professors.

He wrote in his nomination letter: It is expected other Middle Eastern countries will follow in the United Arab Emirates’s footsteps. He noted that this agreement could be a game-changer that will turn the Middle East into a region of cooperation and prosperity.
The politician also mentioned the President’s key role in helping contact between different countries and creating new dynamics in other protracted conflicts, like the Kashmir border conflict between India and Pakistan. Also, the conflict between North and South Korea, like dealing with the nuclear capabilities of North Korea.
Tybring-Gjedde also adored Trump for withdrawing large numbers of US troops from the Middle East. Trump has broken a 39-year-old streak of American Presidents either starting a war or bringing the United States into an international armed struggle. The last President to avoid doing so was Peace Prize laureate, Jimmy Carter.
The Norwegian MP said that the President had met the three conditions needed to win the peace prize. The first one is a fellowship among nations and he has done that through negotiations. Reduction of standing armies that he has reduced the number of troops in the Middle East, and the third factor is promoting peace congresses. Trump had made tremendous efforts towards brokering peace.
He also nominated Islam-critical filmmaker Ayaan Hirsi Ali for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006. Hirsi Ali did not win the prize.
Tybring-Gjedde also nominated Trump for the prize in 2018 after the President’s Singapore point with Kim Jong Un. Prime minister, Shinzō Abe, did the same, but Trump failed to win.

Winning the Nobel peace prize
Gjedde previously nominated Trump for the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize after the Singapore point with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, which the Norwegian declares was an “honorable” achievement.

Nominations for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize send to the Norwegian Nobel Committee before Jan. 31. 21 Americans have received the Nobel Peace Prize. The most recent winner from the U.S. was President Barack Obama in 2009, which Gjedde said: “surprised me”.
“I think the Peace Prize was given to Obama because the Nobel Peace Committee leader was very flattered and also very impressed by Obama’s speeches and how he behaved during his first month in office as a president,” Gjedde said.
“Also, he was the first Black president. This was also an achievement in itself. I think that is not what the Peace Prize committee should consider,” added Gjedde. He said the committee should focus on achievements, not any other factors.
